Before towing
Use only with couplers marked with the corresponding hitch ball size and do not exceed load ratings. Do not attach chains, cables, ropes, straps, or elastic ropes to the hitch ball. Regularly inspect and tighten the hitch ball before each use, applying a small amount of heavy oil or grease while preventing oil or grease buildup under the flange, on the nut, or threads. Always use backup safety chains when towing.
