Mounting hardware is not included. You will need six stainless fasteners for the deck base, plus four 1/4"-20 stainless bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts for the seat.
Choose the spot. Pick a flat, solid section of deck with room for the seat to turn a full circle. Check underneath for wiring, fuel lines and hoses before drilling.
Mark and drill. Set the base plate in place, mark the six holes and the center socket, then drill.
Seal and fasten the base. Apply marine sealant and fasten all six holes evenly.
Attach the seat mount. Bolt the slotted plate to the underside of the seat (fits 5" to 6" patterns).
Assemble. Push the post into the base, then drop the seat mount pin into the post. For a low profile seat, skip the post.
Maintain. Check bolt tension regularly and tighten as needed.
