Remove the old carpet by pulling staples and peeling it free from each bunk board. Sand or scrape off any adhesive residue. Cut new marine carpet to size, leaving a few extra inches on each edge. Apply marine adhesive to the board, lay the carpet smooth, and fold the edges underneath. Secure with a staple gun every few inches along the underside. Let it cure before launching. Replace bunks one at a time so the trailer stays usable. Fresh carpet protects your hull and makes loading far smoother.
