APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Read all warnings in their entirety, prior to beginning. Next you will begin preparing your surface, ensuring it is clean and free of dirt. Before starting, shake the compound bottle well. For machine buffing, employ a wool or foam compounding pad at a moderate speed between 1400-2000 RPM, focusing on one section at a time approximately 2' x 2'. To minimize compound slinging, apply the compound in an X pattern using a chip brush on the targeted area. Start the compounder with light pressure and gradually reduce the pressure further as the material dries, polishing the surface. Persistently work through each section until all sanding and swirl marks are eliminated ensuring you are swapping out your buffing pads regularly to maintain a consistent finish and prevent hazing. Ideally apply to a cool surface or in the shade and avoid application in direct sunlight. Promptly remove any spatter with a damp cloth. For a finishing touch, to protect and seal the boat, use our Better Boat Marine Polish.
