Hey guys, welcome back to yet another video. Today I want to introduce you to some new Better Boat products.
Now, some of you may remember that I worked with Better Boat last year. They sent me some cleaning products to try out. I absolutely loved them.
I used them on this boat. I used them on the Contender. I really enjoyed the products. They seem to work well and had no issues. So, I got in contact with them again, and they asked me to check out two of their new products. That's what I'm going to show you today while taking care of this boat.
The first of these products is a boat chock and a trailer jack stand. The benefit of having these is if you need to get on your boat, it allows you to put this behind the rear tire and place this under the trailer jack. This is going to keep the boat much more steady for you to climb in and out of it.
Chocks and a wheel dock help steady a parked trailer.
The chocks keep the trailer from rolling forward or back. If you're like me and like to park your boat inside, and you're concerned that over time it may roll back, your lower unit won't end up hitting the back of the garage or something like that. It also eliminates the boat getting accidentally pushed.
Putting these behind your back wheels helps stop that rolling.
The second product is this waterproof tape. Waterproof tape is good just to have around the house in case you have a leak or something. This is a quick and easy repair to get you through the day or through the week. On a boat, it can be used as a safety measure.

If you have a bilge pump, and the line going out of the bilge pump outside the hole gets a crack in it, and you have to get water out in a hurry, simply put this on here.
Safety note from Better Boat. Never use tape on a cracked fuel line, and do not run the engine. Shut down the engine, remove ignition sources, and follow your boat's emergency procedures or call for assistance.
It's waterproof so you can adhere it underwater or to a wet substrate. Put it on and press it firmly to remove any air bubbles.
That's very important. So I'll be keeping this on my boat for the season.
