Be Safer with Better Boat's Waterproof Tape and Wheel Chocks [VIDEO]
Hey guys, welcome back to yet another video. And today I want to introduce you to some new, Better Boat products.
Now, some of you may remember last year I worked with a company called Better Boat and they sent me some cleaning products to try out and I absolutely loved them. I used them on this boat, I used them on the Contender, really enjoyed the products, they seem to work well, had no issues. So I got to contact with them again, and they asked me to check out two of their new products. And that's what I'm going to show you today, while we're taking care of this boat.
The first of these products, this is a boat chock and a trailer jack stand. Now the benefit of having these is, if you need to get on your boat or while you're working on it, especially a little bit smaller boat, it allows you to put this behind the rear tire and place this under the trailer jack, this is going to keep the boat much more steady for you to climb in and out of it. So it's not going to sway left to right, causing you to fall. Also, if you're like me, you like to park your boat inside a garage or some type of storage area inside. And you're concerned that over time, it may roll back and your lower unit may end up hitting the back of the garage or something like that or just someone messes around your garage, they accidentally push the boat back. Simply putting these behind your back wheels will prevent that from happening, which is much safer for you, the boat and your property.
The second product is this waterproof tape. Now waterproof tape is good just to have around the house in case you have a leak or something. This is a quick and easy repair to make, just to get you through the day or through the week, but on a boat, it can be used as a safety measure. Say you get a crack in your fuel line, while this may not be the most ideal thing to have, it will stop that leak and it can at least get you back to the ramp. Or if you have a bilge pump and the line going out of the bilge pump outside the hole, you get a crack in that, a leak in that, and you have to get water out in a hurry, simply putting this on here, since it is waterproof and you can adhere it underwater or to a wet substrate, simply put it on real quick, you're good to go, it'll get you to safety back in the dock. And that's very important. So I'll be keeping this on my boat for the season.
I hope these products will help meet your boating needs as they have done so with mine. Now, if you want to help me, go ahead and go check out Better Boat, the link will be in the description.
