A new trailer jack and wheel is one of the key swaps Anthony made to get the tongue under control during this build.
Core tool for this step
Trailer Jack and Wheel
A reliable trailer jack and wheel lets you lift, position, and park the trailer tongue without straining. This is the exact piece the section walks you through replacing.
While you have the winch off, check the strap too. A worn strap on a new winch defeats the point, so swap in a fresh winch strap at the same time.
Complete the winch rebuild
Trailer Winch Strap Replacement
A fresh winch strap pairs directly with a new trailer winch to give you a secure, full retrieval setup. Worn straps are a common failure point and worth replacing at the same time.
