Before use, secure the ratchet mechanism to your trailer using the included bolt and nut. Use the optional bracket if needed. 1. Press the button and move the handle to the release position. 2. Pull out the webbing and hook. 3. Press the button and move the handle up. 4. Ratchet until tight and lock. 5. Press the button and handle to release. 6. Click the button to retract the webbing. 7. Fully retract the webbing for storage. For the optional mounting bracket, secure the angled bracket to the trailer or base with the extra bolts and nuts, then attach the ratchet housing to the bracket and secure it with the second pair of bolts and nuts.
