Marine + RV Water Filter, Model Number BBWF1001.
Tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 in model BBWF1001 for the reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor, and to NSF/ANSI 372 (0.25% lead or less).
Operating Specifications:
Operating temperature: 33 to 100 F
Working pressure: 20 psi to 100 psi (140 kPa to 689 kPa)
Rated capacity: 1,350 gallons (5,110 liters)
Flow rate: 0.5 gpm (1.9 lpm)
Installation:
1. Attach the incoming water hose to the filter with the arrow in line with the direction of water flow. Turn on the water and flush for a few minutes before the filter's first connection with your boat or RV, then turn off the water.
2. Attach the filter to the boat or RV connection. The filter can also be installed at the faucet end of the hose.
It is normal for black carbon fines (particles) to appear on the outside of your filter. This happens when the filter is jarred in shipping, and it is safe to simply wipe them off.
CAUTION: This filter should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Filter life and replacement: Filter life depends on water quality. Replace the filter each boating or camping season, or sooner if an undesirable taste or odor appears or water flow decreases significantly.
