INSTRUCTIONS: Before filling the gun attach the desired tips to the head of the gun ensuring a tight fit. FILLING THE GUN 1. Remove the head assembly of the grease gun 2. Pull the handle down until the internal rod is fully extended, engaging the lock latch as you pull down. 3. Remove the cap on the grease cartridge and insert the open end down into the barrel. 4. Puncture or remove any seal at the top of the grease cartridge. 5. Reinstall the head assembly twisting tightly to ensure the seal is airtight. 6. Push the lock on the bottom of the barrel up towards the head to release the internal rod. 7. Hold down on the spring air release valve on the top of the head while pumping the handle to release any air. 8. Continue this until the grease gun is primed. NOTE: Push the coupler onto fittings at a slight angle and then straighten before filling. Operate the handle to lubricate. To remove the coupler repeat this step by moving it to a slight angle to release. If the grease gun fails to develop pressure or loses prime, check for and release any trapped air pockets. 1.
