Trailer Jack and Wheel
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS The package should contain 4 bolts, lock nuts and 2 securing bars and the jack and wheel. • Decide where you want to mount the trailer jack on your trailer. The location should be on the straight portion of the trailer tongue, near the coupler, with enough space to be able to rotate the jack from the vertical to horizontal position with your load on the trailer. Make sure it is clear of any obstructions. • The mounting location and tongue must adequately support both your jack and the load. • The jack comes with a removable wheel base. The base will slide onto the end of the jack opposite that of the handle. • Release the rectangular lock from the wheel base pin. • Slide the wheel base onto the jack end. • Slide the pin through the wheel base female end making sure you are threading through the holes in the bottom of the jack and out the other side of the wheel base. • Wrap the rectangular bar back around the wheel base and around the end of the pin securing the wheel base in place. Ensure the gears inside the top cap are adequately lubricated. Remove the top plastic cap to expose the gears. Apply a layer of grease to the gear teeth and bushings as required. This should be done at least once a year.
