Directions for round rails
Fits up to a 1.25 inch rail. Thread the screw through the flag pole and one bracket with the notch facing toward the rail. Place the flag pole next to the rail. Place the other bracket with the notch facing inward on the opposite side of the rail. Screw on the washers to snugly clamp the brackets around the rail.

Fits up to a 1.5 inch rail. Thread the screw through the flag pole. Place the flag pole next to the rail. Place the bracket on the opposite side of the rail with the notch facing away from the rail. Screw on the washers snugly to clamp the bracket around the rail.
